About Julia M. McDougall
Julia Maria McDougall originated from the pristine island of Trinidad and Tobago, West Indies. She spent her formative years in Tobago but pursued tertiary education in Trinidad and the United States of America, and now resides in New York.
Julia is a mother, motivator, worshipper and Writing Consultant. She began writing at an early age, when she would accompany her mother on many trips.
Years later, the gift would be harnessed spiritually while attending the Pentecostal Assemblies of the West Indies Extension Bible School where she was chosen to be the Graduate Speaker in April 2004. She enrolled at Nyack College, Manhattan Campus in February 2013 and joined the institution's prestigious Writing Center as an Undergraduate Writing Consultant in 2014. Soon after in 2015, she assumed the role of Undergraduate Coordinator at the Center. Julia is now a freelance Writing Consultant providing editing and proofreading services to those who request her expertise.
